Morgan is a creative communicator and strategic thinker with a passion for building community and connection through storytelling. She brings a strong background in marketing, journalism, and event coordination, along with a collaborative spirit and a sharp eye for detail. Her experience spans leading digital content strategies, managing social media platforms, coordinating large-scale community events, and producing compelling video content. Morgan has a B.A. in Communication Studies from Gonzaga University.
As Project Manager, Morgan will report directly to the Executive Director and take a lead role in planning and implementing projects and events that support the Alliance’s mission. Outside of work, Morgan enjoys exploring local beach trails at Tolmie and Burfoot Parks with her boyfriend and their dog, capturing lifestyle content from local businesses on Instagram, and spending time with friends over board games—Ticket to Ride, Villainous, and Tokaido are among her favorites.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Morgan,” said Desiree Freeland, Executive Director of the Olympia Downtown Alliance. “Her creative energy, attention to detail, and deep appreciation for our local businesses and community make her an ideal fit for this position.”
