We are excited to welcome back WSECU LoveOly WinterFest, a festive street celebration kicking off the holiday season in Downtown Olympia. Join us on Sunday, December 1, from noon to 6 pm, at the corner of 5th Avenue and Washington Street for a day filled with holiday cheer, family-friendly entertainment, and seasonal activities—all free, thanks to our wonderful sponsors.

Event Highlights

Bring your loved ones to enjoy live performances by school groups, the Oly Chamber Brass, and a special show from Harlequin Productions. With a range of family-friendly activities and plenty of holiday spirit, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Here's what to expect:

  • Kids’ Holiday Crafts powered by the Hands-On Children’s Museum
  • Storytelling in the Olympia Ballroom lobby
  • Hot Chocolate Station hosted by Sofie’s Scoops and Dancing Goats
  • Local Artisan Market featuring handcrafted holiday gifts
  • Visits with Santa at 222 Market, located at 222 Capitol Way North

But the fun doesn’t end there! LoveOly WinterFest marks the beginning of Downtown for the Holidays, a month-long celebration running from November 29 through December 24, 2024.

  • LoveOly Holiday Edition: Shop & Dine Promotion (Nov 29 - Dec 24): Pick up or download a LoveOly passport at any participating shop or restaurant. For every $10 you spend, collect a sticker. Redeem five stickers for a special LoveOly gift, with options like a power bank, fanny pack, or beanie.
  • Holiday Lights and Décor: Enjoy over a mile of garland and holiday decorations brightening storefronts throughout Downtown Olympia.
  • Snowfall at The Washington Center for the Performing Arts: Experience the magic of snowfall in Olympia.
